iPhone’s three new variants: the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max have finally been launched. The phones come with promising features that are sure to give its rivals a run for their money. From rumored tweaks and updates to some refreshing features, this article covers everything you need to know about the new iPhone 11. New colors but essentially same design The three new variants of iPhone -- iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max -- have some new refreshing colors: green, yellow, purple, space grey, gold, and midnight green. The most distinctive feature that everyone is talking about is the new camera system. iPhone 11 has a dual camera, whereas the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have a triple camera system. The cameras are encased in a square, which looks unique when compared with other premium smartphones including the iPhone’s own predecessors. The notch remains unchanged, and the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have thicker stainless-steel bezels, which make both the phones look chunkier than iPhone XS and XS Max. The iPhone 11 weighs 194 grams, the iPhone 11 Pro weighs 188 grams, and Pro Max is 226 grams. One of the notable design changes of the iPhone 11 series is that the phones have shifted the logo in the center and excluded the word ‘iPhone’ from their rear panels. While there are no major changes in iPhone 11’s screen size and pixel resolution, the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max versions have Super Retina XDR, which is a type of OLED display. The iPhone 11 is 6.1” with a pixel resolution is 1792x828 at 326 ppi (pixels per inch). The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have a display size of 5.8” and 6.5” with a pixel resolution of 2436x1125 and 2688x1242, respectively, at 458 ppi. Refreshing new cameras iPhone 11 phones’ new camera system is one of the features that everyone had their eyes on, prior to its launch. Amidst several social media leaks and speculations, Apple finally revealed iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max’s triple camera system. The base version, iPhone 11 has a dual camera system, but it has the same technical prowess as Pro and Pro max. The rear cameras are 12-megapixel lenses with wide ultrawide and telephoto lenses. All three variants offer 2x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom. The lenses can create panoramas of up to 63 MP and have advanced red-eye correction and auto image stabilization. The phones let you capture images in HIEF and JPEG formats. You can also record 4K videos at 24 fps. The iPhone 11 series phones come with audio zoom, which lets you amplify audio when you zoom in a video. This is a very helpful feature when you are attending speeches, conventions, and even concerts. All three phones have a 12MP camera, which lets you click photos and videos with a bokeh effect. The front camera lets you record slow-motion videos at 120 fps. What’s under the hood Apple has introduced the A13 Bionic chip with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The chipset has an optimized and efficient processing, thanks to its dedicated neural engine. The company claims that the phone charges 20 percent faster and lasts 5 hours more than its predecessors. The chipset contains four efficient cores, including “machine learning accelerators” that lets the phone perform 1 trillion operations per second.  The three variants of iPhone 11 come with iOS 13 operating system, which helps you keep the phone more secure and makes it more efficient. The Face ID performs a three-dimensional facial scan so that you can unlock your phone even at tilted angles. The new OS also lets you store photos with added security and privacy. Unfortunately, all three phones do not support 5G connectivity, and you may have to wait until 2020 to use 5G enabled iPhones. The lithium ion charger charges 50 percent in 30 minutes with the help of an 18W adapter or higher. The fast charger is sold separately with iPhone 11 and comes in the box with Pro and Pro Max. The phone also supports wireless charging and works with Qi chargers. However, it does not support reverse charging, which was speculated earlier.
